These were assumed Anna Maria's (Mary's) parents, though she was likely an Eppert according to a birth and baptism certificate (original in German | English translation) for the family of Christian Strole and his wife Elizabeth Kiser (daughter of Michael and Mary Kiser) from the 1820s. The document gives the names of all the children of Michael and Mary Kiser and identifies Michael's father as Valentin. This is according to and provided by researcher Mark B. Arslan, with much appreciation.
The Kiser and Rexrode familtes lived about 25 miles from each other in Hessen (Germany) prior to immigration to America. New information about the arrival of the Kisers in America and the migration from Pennsylvania to Virginia |

"Unfortunately, no marriage of Michael Kiser to Anna Maria Eppert (or Lingel) has been found." - Mark Arslan, Kiser Genealogy - Michael Kiser & Mary ----- of Pennsylvania & Virginia. So, Anna Maria to the right remains unverified. Yet, it is worth noting that Michael's DAR Record lists his spouse as Mary Eppert. (Anna Maria) Mary Eppert (likely, though Lingel has been assumed)
