Excerpt of letter from Geraldine "Jerrie" Johnson Lomax to me (James "Jamie" Arthur Johnson) dated June 13, 2011: "Thank you so much for your letter and the pictures. I am having 3 sets made of them - one for Max Hill whose Dad [Wade Hill] was standing at the back. I'm sure you have heard that he was drowned while in his early 20's. He taught a young boys Sunday School class and he and a friend had taken them to the lake for a pic-nic. He and friend were in a boat and it turned over - the friend could swim but Uncle Wade couldn't and drowned. He was married with 2 children. Max was around 1 year - and older sister 3. So sad..."
