This family tree was first put into electronic format on March 26, 2001, by James Arthur Johnson, the husband of Louise Mae (Shifflet) Johnson. It is with excitement and love that he links the two trees together.

In 2000, I had a conversation with Sylvia "Sally" Stonesifer Kiner ("Great nan Nan") at the home of President James Monroe (Ash Lawn) where she, Louise, Louise's mother and I were for the day. From the conversation, I drew the first version of Louise's family tree on a napkin, which eventualy became this webpage.
