My Transcription of Page 1
I Thomas Symons Being sick and weake in body but Blesed be
god in sound and perfect memory at the wrighting here of I
doe make this my Last will and testement in maner and form
as folloeth hooping in gods marcy that when I have Laid down
this tabernacle of Clay and Com to apeear before Crists Judgment
Seat that I may Come with Joy and gladnes before his presence
and now I doe declare this to be my last will and doe
hereby Revoke all former wills by me maid Then by writing or
by words of mouth: first I will and give to my son John
Symons every thing that he hath now in his posesion at this
present wrighting and sealling that is to say cows and Cow kind
sheep and swine and hogs kind and all the howsall goods of
what sorte Soe ever and apersall of tools that he hath now in
his posesion and sa????th of my Cornfeeld acording to the bounds
as we have allredy laid out and the part of the wodland and
have the benifits of the pastures he fencing his part or tember
for bulding or fencing in or one any part of my land that I
or he doth now lend one all those above good and Chatels I doe
emedetly after the proving of my will order my Lawful
Exsokiutor to do Ceneo and forder my will is that after my deer
and well beloved wife Rebeaca Symons Shall depart this life
that then I doe give and bequeth in full posesion all this tract
of land whenone I now leave with houses orchards: gardens
pastures and fensings with all other ARediments that shall be
found thesone ^to John Symons: and my will is fender that if my wife have
not sould the bell nosd gun before her death then to give it to
to John Symons son thomas Symons my grandson if he be alive.
if he be dead then to my son John Symons and if he be dead then
to my son peter Symons and all these above goods and land which
I have given and bequethed to my son John Symons it is to be
understood it is to him and his heirs for Ever after the death
of my deer and Loving wife: and ferder I doe give and
Bequeth to my son peter Symons a tract of land Containing one
hondered acers that I bought of Foams now boy and have paid
him for it and have and ashurance of it with all the houses
orchards gardens and fencing and tember that belongs to it to
him my said son and his heirs forever and allsoe my short
Leged Iron pott and if my said son peter Symons doe stay with
his mother untell he is twenty one yere ould and help his mother
to pay all the debts that is Justly owto be paid at the signing

Rebeaca Symons to be my trew and lawfull Exsexiterex to see
this my will fullfild and to every thing and asteoll herem mention
I hand Enterchangable seat to my hand and seale and doe declare
this to be my last will and testiment dated this 20 of the
Eleventh month 1702/3
